LSBDC to Host “Woman-Oriented: Starting and Financing Your Business Idea” Workshop

McNeese State University will hold a workshop titled “Woman-Oriented: Starting and Financing Your Business Idea” from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the SEED Center.

The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese and is co-sponsored by Sasol and Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.

This week is National Business Women’s Week and the seminar will be focused on female entrepreneurship. It is recommended for individuals planning to start or have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan or wanting to learn more about business planning. Attendees will learn about entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, sources of funds for start-up and expansion and small business resources.
