Charles Stevenson Is the New Alumni Director  

Charles Stevenson, a 2011 McNeese State University graduate, is the new director of the McNeese Alumni Association. 

Stevenson received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Advertising Design. For the past eight years, he volunteered with the board of directors of the alumni association and the McNeese Mavericks, a dedicated group of volunteers that support the university and the alumni association. 

“I am honored to have been selected to continue the rich traditions of the McNeese Alumni Association,” Stevenson said. “I am working to develop new ways to support the university and be involved with our great community.” 

The purpose of the Alumni Association is to support McNeese by assisting and encouraging the advancement of material prosperity, academic progress and extracurricular growth by reconnecting graduates with their alma mater in ways that encourage their financial and personal support of the university and its mission. 

Stevenson’s goals include amplifying community engagement, evolving the fundraising efforts and scholarship programs and erasing the gap between the different generations within the alumni organization by keeping the spirit alive within the alumni community.
