McNeese State University President Dr. Daryl Burckel received a Positive Growth Community Recognition Award recently.
The Alliance for Positive Growth (APG) honored Burckel for his efforts in getting McNeese facilities and housing back up and running at their Annual Positive Growth Banquet. Guest speaker Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser presented the award to Burckel.
APG is an organization of professionals in the fields of real estate, development, construction and all other interested parties working together to promote strong, progressing growth in Southwest Louisiana.
The APG Positive Growth Community Recognition Awards were given to local individuals who embody the recovery and resiliency spirit of the region.
