The Society for Human Resource Management student chapter at McNeese State University recently held its scholarship and installation ceremony.
SHRM is a professional human resources membership association that promotes the role of HR and provides continuing education and training to its members.
Jada Hanks, senior in human resource management from Egan, received the $500 Imperial Calcasieu Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship. Hanks will graduate in fall 2021.
Newly installed officers are: Isaac Burleigh, Iowa, president; Maeleigh Conner, Creole, vice president; Serena Greenlee, secretary, Lake Charles; and Emilee Whitaker, Lake Charles, treasurer.
