The McNeese State University men’s rodeo team took first place and the women’s team placed third at the 64th annual McNeese rodeo.
In steer wrestling, Gabe Soileau, Bunkie, tied for first and Gavin Soileau, Bunkie, tied for fifth.
In bareback riding, Sandro Ferretti, Noves, France, tied for second while teammate Waylon Bourgeois, Church Point, placed fourth.
In saddle bronc riding, Ryder Sanford, Carlyss, took third place and Lathan Lyons, Eunice, finished fourth.
In barrel racing, Grace Hanley, Welsh, placed second and Elizabeth Broussard, Estherwood, finished fourth.
In goat tying, Mia Manzanares, Opelousas, took second.
