McNeese State University’s master’s degree program in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner has been ranked among the 25 Best Online MSN in Psychiatric Nursing Degree Programs for 2022 by Top RN to BSN, an online nursing guide for current and prospective nurses. The rankings were based on affordability, return on investment and reputation.
McNeese’s MSN program is a state leader in psychiatric mental health nursing. The College of Nursing and Health Professions is now offering a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in advanced practice psychiatric mental health nursing – the first such program in Louisiana – to help address the state’s shortage of mental health providers.
