Todd Furman

While studying mathematics and computer science at California State University at Chico, Todd Furman got bit by the philosophy bug. Todd changed his course of study and graduated from Chico State with a B.A. in philosophy. At Chico, Todd focused his studies on (French) existentialism, epistemology, and David Hume. Todd received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1992. Todd’s dissertation was in epistemology –offering a Gettier-proof analysis of knowledge. Other areas of focus were David Hume, skepticism, and philosophy of religion. In 2020, Todd received an M.A. in psychology from McNeese State University with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). After graduation Todd sat for the nation boards and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and works part-time with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their parents.
