Stan Weeber

Dr. Stan Weeber earned sociology degrees from Simpson College (B.A.), Mississippi State University (M.A.) and the University of North Texas (Ph.D). His sociological interests include collective behavior, social movements, and political and historical sociology. His work has been presented at annual meetings of the American Sociological Association, the American Society of Criminology, the Society for the Study of Social Problems, the Southern Sociological Society, and major conferences on assassination and political violence. Embracing a new interest in the sociology of technology, he is mapping a social history of the Internet with colleagues from the U.K., USA, Brazil, Switzerland, and New Zealand.
