Melonie Duhon received her Associate of Science in Computer Applications from SOWELA Technical College, BSN from McNeese State University, and MSN in Nursing Education from McNeese State University. She is also certified as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Her clinical background includes women’s health (obstetrics and newborn), medical/surgical, and cardiology nursing. She has received numerous endowed professorships, followed by a TASC grant to support simulation education.
