Lab Instructor and Coordinator
Matthew Ferguson is the Lab Instructor and Coordinator for microbiology labs. He is a graduate from McNeese State University and received a BS in Toxicology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Along with teaching microbiology labs, he is responsible for preparing growth media, maintaining bacterial stock cultures, and preparing chemicals for labs. He also serves as the Hazardous Waste Officer for the department.
