Assistant Professor of Nursing, Simulation Program Coordinator
Lori Dougherty received both MSN and BSN at McNeese State University and holds certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. She is an Assistant Professor of Nursing with 18 years of academic experience and 24 years as a Registered Nurse. She currently serves as the Simulation Program Coordinator and continues to provide patient care part-time in her community. Her professional interests include innovative simulation-based education, faculty and student mentorship, critical care, and lifelong learning.
