Dr. Geoffrey Stemen has studied classical keyboard for twenty-three years, with twelve years in collegiate academia. An experienced collaborative artist, he performs often with musicians ranging from K-12 to undergraduate to professional. Accomplished in instrumental and vocal repertoire, he has collaborated with all major symphonic instruments and saxophone. His love of art song and opera has taken him abroad to Berlin, Germany. In addition to experience with harpsichord and celesta, he has served for three years as organist of University United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Stemen holds degrees in piano performance including Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Pensacola Christian College (B.A. 2017, M.A. 2019), Master of Music in Performance Piano from Butler University (2021, Indianapolis), and Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano from Louisiana State University (2025).
