Christopher Latil

Visiting Lecturer; Area of Printmaking

Visual Arts

Christopher Latil is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts at McNeese State University. He earned his B.A. in Studio Art from McNeese State University and his M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Mississippi in 2023. Since returning to Lake Charles, he has been working as an exhibit specialist at Historic City Hall, a local art museum.

Latil’s work has appeared in over a dozen juried competitions nationwide and has been featured in international art publications, including Spain’s Altiba‑9 Magazine and the U.K.’s Pressing Matters. In 2022, his work was selected for LAPS 22nd National, a prominent survey of contemporary printmaking in North America.

At McNeese, Latil has taught:
