Mass Communication

Ms. Christa Bell has been an instructor at McNeese since August of 2013. Originally from Alabama, she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked in print journalism and public relations before earning a master’s degree in communication and organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. Christa is the faculty adviser for The Poke Press and the campus chapter of PRSSA. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Broadcast Educator’s Association.
