Dr. Carol Campbell earned her Master of Science in Sociology from Valdosta State College, her Master of Social Work, Master of Criminal Justice, and PhD in Sociology from Louisiana State University. Her dissertation focused on the effects of demographic variables and gender-role identity on attitudes about premarital sexual permissiveness. Her research interests include gender roles, youth deviance and treatment, substance abuse, mental health, social control, marriage and family, sex abuse, child abuse, and animal abuse.
