Department Head, Associate Professor in Undergraduate Nursing
Dr. Amelia Washington received her MSN and DNP from Grand Canyon University and holds certification as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) by the National League of Nursing. Her nursing background and passion is neonatal intensive care/women’s health with experience in medical surgical, camp nursing, and international medical clinics. She currently holds officer/committee positions in Louisiana State Nursing Association, Kappa Psi-Sigma and is the advisor for the Student Nurses Association.
