McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
Dr. Gerard Ornas Jr. is an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences and received his Doctorate in Mathematics from Texas Tech University.
He came to McNeese in 2003 and has received two enhancement grants and several endowed professorships, which were used to upgrade and improve student study labs and supply new technology and materials for in-class participation.
He is member of the Mathematics Association of America and serves as the faculty adviser for the McNeese MAA student chapter.
