McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
David Elks of Stonington, Connecticut, has donated $10,000 to the McNeese Foundation for the Sylvia McGuire and David C. Elks Scholarship. The scholarship is designated for history and liberal arts majors. Elks graduated from McNeese in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. His late wife, Sylvia, attended McNeese and was a strong advocate of the university.
