Graduate nursing students Michael McFarlain and Latonya Woods received state recognition for their academic success.
Michael is the first McNeese student to be named Student of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP).
Latonya received one of two inaugural scholarships from the LANP Foundation and is one of the first recipients from Southwest Louisiana to be accepted into the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center Scholars Program.
