Undergraduate Students

For First Time Freshman and Undergraduate Transfers (from a U.S. Institution)

The most important scholarship available to our undergraduate students is the ACCESS Award, a non-resident fee waiver.  This award is valued at over $10,000 per year and fully waives the non-resident fee accessed to international students, allowing them to pay “Louisiana Resident tuition fees”.  All international undergraduate first time freshman and transfer students (from a United States institution) are automatically considered for the ACCESS Award.

View our estimated Tuition and Fees.
Please note that only first-time freshman and transfer students from U.S. colleges/universities are eligible for this award.  There is no application for the ACCESS Award, as McNeese automatically considers all students who complete an online application for this award upon admission.

For Undergraduate transfer students (from a non-U.S. Institution)

Undergraduate transfer students from foreign universities are not eligible for the ACCESS Award.  These students may qualify for the SPURS scholarship (Special Achievement Award).  Criteria for this award can be found on the Office of Scholarships website. The application for the SPURS Scholarship can only be filled out once a student arrives on the McNeese campus and checks in with the Office of International Programs.

Graduate Students

Graduate students may apply for the International Graduate Scholarship using the McNeese Scholarship application.
