Confessions
Travis Park
__________
Beneath the soft glow of streetlights fading,
A revelation whispers, threading through our ordinary world.
The park, a familiar canvas, now painted with uncertainty.
Her eyes, a mosaic of joy and quiet turmoil,
Hold a story yet unfolded, veiled in their depths.
The air, thick with the scent of anticipation,
Leaves me standing on the edge of an unforeseen revelation.
A well-worn bench becomes our silent refuge,
Its history etched in the grain, a witness to our past.
Her voice, a hesitant murmur in the hush of night,
Carries the weight of a truth yearning for acknowledgment.
Silence wraps around us, each quiet moment an echo of the imminent change.
In this familiar park, a subtle revelation takes shape,
A truth weaving its threads through the fabric of us.
No grand proclamations, just the silent understanding,
A gaze shared, unraveling the tapestry of our reality.
Her touch, a plea for connection amidst uncertainty,
The contours of our journey shifting with newfound gravity.
Under the muted moonlight, a quiet upheaval,
Not in bold strokes but in subtle tremors.
No explicit words, just the weight of an uncertain future.
