Autism occurs at the rate of 1 in every 150 births. We know from previous research that children with autism can benefit from intensive ABA interventions especially when the intervention is presented early in the child's life. The financial cost associated with these interventions can be quite burdensome for families, even keeping some children from receiving the services they need. Gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations are used to help families who need assistance paying for services offered by the McNeese Autism Program. No amount is too small and it all goes to provide services for children.
