Welcome from the Assistant Vice President

Thank you for visiting University Services!  Whether you are a returning student or have just recently joined our learning community, you have made an excellent choice to attend McNeese State University. The programs and services available to you through the Office of University Services are designed to engage you in campus life, provide support to help you reach your goals, and create a culture where differing ideas and perspectives are valued, respected and affirmed. Whether you seek to live on campus, participate in co-curricular learning activities, access campus health care resources, or simply notify someone of a concern, University Services is here to help make your collegiate experience positive in every possible way.
I've been fortunate to work at several colleges and universities, public and private, large and small, and I've concluded McNeese is a very special place where your individual potential, growth, and success are nurtured by a community of scholars and professional staff who are sold out to the motto excellence with a personal touch. Even so, you may occasionally encounter a challenge or issue that is difficult to resolve or where another viewpoint may help bring clarity to the situation at hand. When that happens, come and see me or a member of my staff. We are happy to help you work through issues or concerns, identify possible solutions, and succeed.
Welcome to McNeese--Geaux Cowboys!
Dr. Chris Thomas
