Yoga for Beginners

Ease the Mind and Strengthen the body. Three classes per week, come to one
or all three classes each week.

This series explores fundamental yoga postures, proper alignment, moving
with the breath, meditation and pranayama "Breathing Techniques". Also
includes a bonus 5th week yoga flow class. The beginners series is
recommended for new students of yoga.

Bring a throw, large towel or blanket. Also, a yoga mat is suggested.

Studio Reminders:

  • Please arrive to class on time. If you arrive late, please join the class quietly.
  • Please leave your shoes and personal belongings outside the studio.
  • Please silence cell phones and pagers.
  • Please share any injuries or special health conditions with your instructor so that he/she can best assist you in your practice.
  • Please come to class clean and odor neutral (no heavy scents, perfumes or otherwise).
  • Come to class with an empty belly. Remember snacks at least 1 hour prior to class and big meals at least 2 hours before class.
  •  In class, this is time for you, feel free to ask questions and always let us know if you are experiencing any pain or discomfort in your practice.
