quickbooks     A hands-on introduction to QuickBooks, students will learn company setup, organization of chart of accounts and file security for multiple users. Setup of customers, processing of credit and cash sales transactions, receipt of cash, processing of bank deposits and generation of statements and other receivables reports. In addition, setup of vendors, processing of purchases, processing of checks and generation of payables reports will be taught.

Prerequisites: Keyboarding skills, basic knowledge of Windows and use of the mouse.

     Quirk has a BS in Accounting, a MBA in Technology Management and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Certified in QuickBooks versions 2006 - 2014, QuickBooks Point of Sale v10, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Ver. 9. He is also certified by the American Institute of CPAs as a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). Quirk is a member of the AICPA's Information Technology section, a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a member of the Microsoft Partner Network.
