Adult Electronic Learning Admission Requirements

The McNeese Online Learning program is designed for learners who are not traditional students and all of these classes are designed to meet the special needs of students who work and have families. For that reason, admission into electronic learning is reserved for adult learners who meet the following requirements:

  • Be admitted into McNeese State University as a degree-seeking student. MSU Online Application
  • Do not need developmental math or English course. (Although this may be overcome by taking the ACT Compass test or entering into StraighterLine courses).

How do I apply for the online learning program at McNeese State University?

Current McNeese Students:
Complete a Curriculum Change form to transfer from your current department to the adult learning department of your choice (Criminal Justice, Family and Child Studies, Sociology, Management, or Psychology).

New Applicants:
  1. Submit an official online application for admission and $20 non-refundable application fee.
  2. Submit official transcripts from all collegiate institutions previously attended regardless of whether credit was earned or is desired.
  3. Complete and submit the proof of immunization form  PDF.
  4. Submit a copy of Draft Card (males ages 18 - 25 only)
