Must have had something on your mind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cCan\u2019t a girl get some beauty sleep?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cYou\u2019d need a coma for that mug.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ms. Dutchess was appalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cDidn\u2019t your mother ever teach you how to treat a lady?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cI\u2019m asking the questions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Spade rolled over the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cGrapevine spotted you prowling around that night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cWho said that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cSpot did.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cAnd you\u2019d believe that hound? You call yourself a detective?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cNot as far as I can throw him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cThen why are you wasting my time, Spade?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cNothing\u2019s ever black and white.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cIronic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Spade growled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cDrop the act. I know you saw the perp. Spill!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cThat night had nothing to do with it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cSo you <em>do<\/em> know something.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cWell&#8230; I&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The cat was out of the bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cSpit it out!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cHe\u2019s a tall man. But I swear, that\u2019s all I know!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Spade turned to the window. Stared at nothing. This case would be the death of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Then, like fate, he made his appearance. A tall man with a large bag of&#8230; Paper?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cI\u2019ll be a son of a bitch&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Spade launched at the door on all fours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ms. Dutchess pounced to safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">He barked and barked, tail wagging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">His owner came down the stairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cSpade! Down boy!
