The flashes fell into two camps: those heavy in Mardi Gras and New Orleans lore, and those heavy in excess, but less lore. My favorites in the latter camp were oddly symbiotic (so many featuring hair!) that I decided to produce an issue that took the idea of excess in unexpected directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The musicality of one of in the former camp kept bringing me back, over and over.
