the soggy frosting beach sunk under a mini umbrella fleet. his mother both more auburn and more beautiful than me. In our wedding seats we chewed cubed THC gummies. the one girl I\u2019d loved slipped us on the way to the buffet. but we never had time to eat. my newborn in a sky-blue suit scream-sobbing mommy<\/em>. my tits throbbing with the need to feed him instead of this occasion. If you ever write back. describe the light at your wedding. so I can forget the stale flat. bread the cherry tomato sweat. we fed each other on our Holiday. Inn bed Queen size. since we couldn\u2019t afford anything sold as Bride yet. Was it peach with June or. the yellow of a walrus tusk. Did each pew glow. a harvest I can still pluck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexa Doran<\/strong> completed her PhD in Poetry at Florida State University in 2021 and is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Tallahassee Community College. Her full-length collection DM Me, Mother Darling<\/em> won the 2020 May Sarton New Hampshire Poetry Prize and was published in April 2021 (Bauhan).
