McNeese Sponsors Black History Presentation

Gregg Riley(February 13, 2014) A Black History presentation highlighting different forms of performance art and historical African-American events will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Shearman Fine Arts Performing Arts Theatre at McNeese State University. This free event is sponsored by McNeese's Multicultural Programming office and NAACP student chapter.

Motivational speaker and nationally renowned Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. impersonator, Gregg Riley, will perform an inspirational reenactment of King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. Not only does Riley perform King's timeless speech flawlessly, but he also incorporates critically researched solutions to current issues facing the country today.

Riley will perform a teaser reenactment of another King speech for McNeese students at noon Thursday in the Old Ranch.
