Week 1:

August 19-22
Monday, August 19
“Meet the Greeks”
9:30am – 12:30pm / Quad
Join the 11 fraternities and sororites within the McNeese Greek Unity Board for a day filled with food, fun, and fellowship.  Organizations will set up table displays to distribute information about joining their groups or supporting their philanthropic efforts for the new academic year.
Tuesday, August 20
McNeese Student Organizations Fair** (Engage Track)
Session 1: 9:00am – 12:00pm / New Ranch
The annual Welcome Back Student Organizations Fair is a chance for students, faculty, and staff to become acquainted with our 100+ recognized student organizations.  Organizations will be recruiting new members and sharing information about their plans for the new school year.  Music and refreshments will be present at each session.

Wednesday, August 21
 “Welcome Back Wednesday”
11:00am – 1:00pm / New Ranch Atrium
The Student Life Coalition will host a day of free novelties, food, and music in the Student Union-New Ranch.
Thursday, August 22
“Get Connected Day”** (Engage Track)
9:00am – 12:00pm / New Ranch Atrium
Various student support departments and academic areas will host table setups in the New Ranch to meet new students, give information about the services they provide, and to answer general questions.

Week 2:

August 26-29
Monday, August 26
McNeese Campus Ministries Day
9:00am – 12:00pm / New Ranch
McNeese’s many campus ministry student organizations will be present in the New Ranch Atrium to distribute information to students about services they provide along with how to join their organizations.  There will also be information available regarding attendance to their worship services, meetings, and free lunch programs. 
Tuesday, August 27
“SGA Day”
10:00am – 12:30pm / New Ranch
The McNeese Student Government Association will host a day to show its appreciation of the McNeese student body.  Come to this event to learn more about how you can be connected to and involved with the organization.  There will also be free food, music, and cool giveaways.
Wednesday, August 28
“Wellness Wednesday”** (Engage Track)
9:00am – 12:00pm / New Ranch
Student Health Services will coordinate a program to promote student wellness.  In order to succeed in college (and in life), it is important to be WELL. There will be tables with information and resources on the following topics: academic health, emotional health, nutritional health, sexual health, and healthy alcohol consumption.
SGA Opening Meeting** (Engage Track)
4:00pm – 5:00pm / Baker Auditorium (Farrar Hall)
The McNeese Student Government Association will host its opening meeting for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Come to hear from your student leadership and learn how you can be actively engaged with SGA this school year!
Thursday, August 29
“Community Day”
9:00am – 12:00pm / New Ranch
Local businesses & community service agencies in the McNeese area will have booths in the New Ranch Atrium to culminate Howdy Rowdy Welcome Week.  Several businesses will be marketing their products and services, while others may be offering opportunities for part-time employment and internships for students. Most tables will offer free promotional items, samples, and prize drawings.

Student Life Coalition Opening Meeting** (Engage Track)
2:00pm – 3:00pm / Old Ranch (Student Union)
The McNeese Student Life Coalition will host its opening meeting for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Leaders of the organizations will share their program plans for the school year and explain how any student can volunteer or serve as a committee member in the organization.
