If all required documents are not submitted, a hold will be placed on your account 30 days after your first semester. Select the Textbooks link on the left, select the term and enter the appropriate search criteria for your courses. The search results will include the title, author and ISBN of the required and\/or recommended textbooks.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"ui-accordion-header ui-helper-reset ui-state-default ui-accordion-icons ui-corner-all\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-header-6\" role=\"tab\">What is a PTA account?<\/h4>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\" aria-labelledby=\"ui-accordion-1-header-6\" class=\"ui-accordion-content ui-helper-reset ui-widget-content ui-corner-bottom\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-panel-6\" role=\"tabpanel\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"twelve msu-columns info-grey\">A Personal Touch Account allows students to purchase items at the University Bookstore and pay for them at a later time. First-time freshmen may charge books only, but all other students may charge any item in the bookstore. What do I do?<\/h4>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\" aria-labelledby=\"ui-accordion-1-header-7\" class=\"ui-accordion-content ui-helper-reset ui-widget-content ui-corner-bottom\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-panel-7\" role=\"tabpanel\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"twelve msu-columns info-grey\"><strong>Since McNeese no longer offers developmental English and math courses, you have a few options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"paragraph\">If you need developmental English, take the ACCUPLACER sentence skills exam; if you need developmental math, take the ACCUPLACER elementary algebra exam. ACCUPLACER exams are offered by McNeese\u2019s Office of Testing Services. You can register and pay for exams, view more information about ACCUPLACER and access a free study app at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/testing\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Office of Testing Services\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.mcneese.edu\/testing.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"paragraph\">Re-take the ACT or SAT to increase your scores in English and\/or math. Have your official scores sent to McNeese.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"paragraph\">Cross-enroll with SOWELA Technical Community College to complete the developmental course on McNeese\u2019s campus. Your academic advisor can discuss this with you and help you through the process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"ui-accordion-header ui-helper-reset ui-state-default ui-accordion-icons ui-corner-all\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-header-8\" role=\"tab\">I\u2019ve taken AP and\/or CLEP courses. How do I get credit?<\/h4>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\" aria-labelledby=\"ui-accordion-1-header-8\" class=\"ui-accordion-content ui-helper-reset ui-widget-content ui-corner-bottom\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-panel-8\" role=\"tabpanel\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"twelve msu-columns info-grey\">Have College Board send your official Advanced Placement and\/or CLEP scores to McNeese (College Code 6403). Once the scores are received, the Registrar\u2019s Office will review your scores and award credit based on university policy. You can view the credit awarded for AP and CLEP exams at <a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.mcneese.edu\">catalog.mcneese.edu<\/a>. Select Academic Regulations and then College Board Advanced Placement Program (AP) or College Board College Level Examination Program (CLEP) located under Prior Learning Assessment Programs.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"ui-accordion-header ui-helper-reset ui-state-default ui-accordion-icons ui-corner-all\" id=\"ui-accordion-1-header-9\" role=\"tab\">I\u2019ve taken dual enrollment courses from another college.
