Section I: Curriculum Design and Implementation
Description: Lesson planning including outcomes, diverse students, rigor of activities; Relating content to real-world scenarios and students' backgrounds
Section II: Classroom Environment and Management
Description: Management of instructional groups, transitions, or materials and supplies, awareness and response to behavior; Communication with students, inclusiveness of all learners, student led management of classroom
Section III: Quality of Instructional Practices
Description: Quality of questions and discussion techniques, student participation, engagement of activities; Grouping of students, structure and pacing of lesson; Rigor of student thinking required, level of academic support meeting student needs, use of technology
Section IV: Student Assessment and Monitoring
Description: Formal and informal assessments, feedback to students, including self- and peer-monitoring; Using assessment to drive instruction
Section V: Professional Dispositions
Description: Timely documentation, receptive to feedback, integrity and ethical conduct; Critical reflection, collaboration with other stakeholders
