Student Health & Development is comprised of three departments:
112 Kaufman Hall
Provides individual mental health counseling sessions, learning assesments, career assessments, and access to a medical psychologist for medication management (screening with a counselor required first). All enrolled McNeese students are eligible. No per-session fee.
Provides acute medical care, immunization compliance, and daily doctor's clinic 10:00am-12:00pm. Nurses available 7:00am-3:00pm. All enrolled McNeese students are eligible. No per-visit fees. However, students are financially responsible for prescription medicines.
Career & Student Development Center
Holbrook Student Union (old ranch, across from the bookstore)
Provides career guidance and counseling, professional document writing (e.g. resume, coverletter), interviewing skills, job/career/internship placement opportunities.
