Presented by Jo Ann Lawrence from the New Orleans office of the U.S. Small Business Administration, this workshop will focus on helping women businesses owners navigate the process to gain a Woman-Owned Small Business certification.
Like professional certifications, small business certifications document a special capability or status that can help small businesses compete in the marketplace. While they aren’t necessary for businesses to operate, small business certifications can nevertheless help business owners attract business or access opportunities such as federal government contracts.
