3.13.A. Accrediting Decisions of Other Agencies
Applicable Policy Statement.  Any institution seeking or holding accreditation from more than one U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting body must describe itself in identical terms to each recognized accrediting body with regard to purpose, governance, programs, degrees, diplomas, certificates, personnel, finances, and constituencies, and must keep each institutional accrediting body apprised of any change in its status with one or another accrediting body.

McNeese State University is consistent in the manner in which it describes itself in regard to purpose, governance, programs, degrees, certificates, personnel, finances, and constituencies and apprises all accrediting bodies of any changes in status.
Each college at McNeese offers programs that are professionally accredited. These accreditations are listed in the University Catalog.

3.13.B. Complaint Procedures against the Commission or Its Accredited Institutions
Applicable Policy Statement. In addition to FR 4.5 regarding complaints, the Commission also requires, in accord with federal regulations, that each institution maintains a record of complaints received by the institution. This record is made available to the Commission upon request.

Complaint records are housed in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Academic Support and include all correspondence related to the initial complaint in adherence to applicable university policies as detailed in section FR 4.5. In addition to the details of correspondence, the Office maintains an Index of Registered Complaints, which includes, among other things, a description of the nature of the complaint, when it was lodged, and the individuals responding.

3.13.C. Reaffirmation of Accreditation and Subsequent Reports
Applicable Policy Statements. An institution includes a review of its distance learning programs in the Compliance Certification.
