Academic Advising Committee

The Academic Advising Committee reports to the provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment management and is responsible for making recommendations to address academic advising issues, developing best practices for advising and any related technologies, creating and maintaining advising resources, and planning and offering advising workshops or related trainings. The committee is composed of one representative from each academic college, the Faculty Senate, the Office of Freshman Advising, the Student Success Center, the Office of Student-Athlete Services and Eligibility, and the Student Government Association.

Ex-officio members include one representative from the Office of Electronic Learning, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, and the Office of the Registrar and Admissions.
