McNeese State University's Department of Performing Arts Theatre Program is pleased to announce it's spring production, The Secret Garden by Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon Based on the Novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this beloved Victorian classic rings to life in an enchanting musical. Our story begins in India where a cholera outbreak takes Mary Lennox parents.
Mary is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven, who resides in a secluded manor on the British moors. The hilltop estate is burdened by the spirits of the past and a long-suffering collection of souls. Mary discovers a secret garden, overgrown and locked away. Determined to revive the beauty that once was, Mary begins to peel away the layers of sadness that cover her home and her past, showing us the power a small girl can have when she wants to make things grow!

McNeese Theatre Bayou Players 2017-2018 Season
The 2017-2018 season of McNeese Theatre Bayou Players will feature three theater productions. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for McNeese faculty/staff, senior citizens 62 and older, youth (K-12) and teachers and free for McNeese students with a current ID. Season tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for McNeese faculty and staff, senior citizens and youth (K-12). All season tickets support McNeese Theater Scholarships.
