\n\t\t\tMusic Program\t<\/h3>\n\t

Our internationally recognized faculty is committed to the art of teaching and preparing our students for a rewarding career in the arts. We offer a variety of concentrations in music performance, music education and music production, while providing all students a wealth of performance opportunities including small and large ensembles, dramatic productions and individual recitals. The W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts is also home to the McNeese theatre program. Theatre majors receive hands-on experience in all aspects of a theatrical production, from backstage technical design to on-stage direction and performances. Each year students are given the opportunity to work with world-class guest artists and industry professionals.
