The program includes selections from operas including “Julius Caesar” and “Don Giovanni” and other works by Handel, Brahms, Mozart, Schumann and more. Jones will be accompanied by Dr. Lina Morita on piano and assisted by tenor Layton Bergestedt.
Jones, a vocal music education major, is a member of the McNeese Chamber Singers and has been a soloist for Handel’s “Messiah” for the past two years. She is also a member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Professional Music Fraternity.
