The program includes: “Durch Zärtlichkeit” by Mozart; “Aria di Dorina” by Haydn; “Ah, Love But a Day” by Amy Beach; “Mondnacht” by Robert Schumann; “Le Rossignol des Lilas” by Reynaldo Hahn; “Steal Me Sweet Thief” by Gian Carlo Menotti; “O mio babbino caro” by Giacomo Puccini; and more. Stone will be accompanied by Mark Henry on piano and assisted by Lindsey Bower, soprano.
Stone, a vocal music education major, is a member of the McNeese Chamber Singers. She has performed as a soloist for McNeese’s 75th Anniversary Musical Review and for the annual performance of “Messiah” at McNeese. Stone also placed second in her division at the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
