McNeese State University’s Department of Performing Arts will present a free faculty recital at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, in Tritico Theatre as part of the department’s fall Faculty/Guest Recital Series.

The McNeese State University Black Alumni Chapter is sponsoring a scholarship fundraiser – Jazz It Up With Marcus Davis – from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Robert Noland Alumni Pavilion.

The McNeese Performing Arts Department will present a free piano recital featuring McNeese associate professor of music Dr. Lina Morita Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. in Tritico Theatre.

The Fritz Lang Foundation recently donated $20,000 to the McNeese Foundation for the McNeese Harold and Pearl Dripps School of Agricultural Sciences.

The annual McNeese State University Theatre Roundup will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in Tritico Theatre.

Students can still register for the fall 2016 semester at McNeese State University online or with their faculty adviser during late registration Aug. 19-23.

McNeese State University will offer a variety of online programs – bachelor’s, master’s and education specialist degrees and certificates - during the 2016 fall semester.

Students who have registered online for McNeese State University’s 2016 fall semester have until 4:30 p.m. Aug. 17 to pay fees. Fall classes begin Aug. 22.
