Add new information for each academic year in a new row or column of a table, or underneath previous information using the new academic year as a heading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Analyses must reflect the corresponding data<\/strong> and include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trends observed in the data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your interpretation of those trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actions to be taken in the upcoming year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If the benchmark has been consistently met<\/strong>, consider revising the benchmark or modifying the assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If the benchmark was not met<\/strong>, you must include a plan for improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You must &#8220;close the loop&#8221;<\/strong> and demonstrate continuous improvement. Avoid phrases like \u201cmaintain\u201d or \u201ccontinue to monitor.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do not copy and paste<\/strong> analyses from previous years or from other assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic Department Heads:<\/strong> When analyzing enrollment, completion, and retention data, examine all cohorts\/academic years to identify trends. Base your continuous improvement plan on this analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pay attention<\/strong> to any comments provided by IRE while inputting information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading display-3\">Updating a Departmental\/Support Unit Assessment Report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under <strong>My Open Activities<\/strong>, click <strong>View<\/strong> to access assigned plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the appropriate plan to expand and view the performance objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Open<\/strong> next to a performance objective to display its fields. Fields requiring updates will show <strong>Incomplete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To edit a field:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click to expand it, then select <strong>Edit<\/strong> on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For tables: Right-click the last row, select <strong>Row &gt; Insert row after<\/strong> to add a new year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After editing, check <strong>Mark as complete<\/strong> in the lower-left corner, then click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To upload a file, click <strong>File +<\/strong> next to <strong>Edit<\/strong>, choose your file, then click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To add a new assessment:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expand the first <strong>Assessment and Benchmark<\/strong> field, then click <strong>Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This creates new <strong>Assessment and Benchmark<\/strong>, <strong>Data<\/strong>, and <strong>Analysis of Data and Plan for Continuous Improvement<\/strong> fields. Complete and mark as complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the <strong>Assessment and Benchmark<\/strong> field is locked and needs revision, email <a href=\"mailto:showard7@mcneese.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">showard7@mcneese.edu<\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once all fields are updated, click <strong>Close<\/strong> at the top to return to the list of performance objectives. Repeat as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading display-3\">Updating an Academic Program Assessment Report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under <strong>My Open Activities<\/strong>, click <strong>View<\/strong> to access your assigned programs.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Some assignments may be view-only for peer review and commenting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the program you need to update.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Open<\/strong> under <strong>Current Cycle<\/strong> (before June 1) or <strong>Prior Cycle<\/strong> (after May 31).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fields needing updates will show <strong>Incomplete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the <strong>Assessment and Benchmark, Data<\/strong>, or <strong>Analysis of Results and Plan for Continuous Improvement<\/strong> fields are locked, email <a href=\"mailto:showard7@mcneese.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">showard7@mcneese.edu<\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Example of Program Improvement<\/strong> and <strong>Program Highlights from the Reporting Year<\/strong> fields, add current-year information beneath prior content.
