Curriculum Vitae Submission

All teaching faculty must keep a current copy of their CV in the Office of Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management. These are used when verifying faculty qualifications for teaching courses. Acceptable CVs contain the following elements:


  • Name
  • Contact Information
  • Highest Degree
  • Rank and Tenure Status


  • List all degrees and include:
    • Name of degree and academic discipline (ex. PhD in History)
    • Date conferred
    • Institution
    • Major and minor fields of study
  • Additional graduate coursework
  • Other education identifying qualifications for teaching courses where the discipline of the degree is not the same as the discipline of the courses taught.

Professional Experience

  • Certifications
  • Professional memberships
  • Teaching experience at other institutions:
    • Institution
    • Dates of employment
    • Courses taught
  • Non-teaching professional experience related to courses taught
  • Professional development and training
