McNeese Career Center

The McNeese Office of Career & Student Development Services can help you with just about everything, including writing or editing your resume, improving your interviewing skills, telling you about upcoming career fairs, answering any questions you might have, and more. They also provide a resource section where you can look through print and web posts about internships.

We host a Career Fair each fall and spring semester with over 100 employers participating. We also conduct resume workshops and mock interviews. Taking part in these events will help prepare you to search.

Cowboy Job Link, maintained the by the McNeese Office of Career & Student Development, is a free online job posting site for currently enrolled students. Graduates of McNeese are eligible to use this service for life. After building your applicant profile and posting an approved resume, students and alumni can browse for internship and job opportunities posted in Cowboy Job Link by employers. Employers can browse for resumes posted by job seekers.

Search on the Internet

The internet is the most powerful resource tool out there and you can use it to your advantage. Going to any search engine on the Web, you can type in the word "internship" and a long list of websites will show up with all kinds of useful information. Many employers are now offering virtual internships in addition to traditional internships.
