McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The Department of Chemical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering supports the ABET accredited Chemical Engineering concentration of the B.S. in Engineering degree. The Department also supports the Master of Engineering degree concentration in Chemical Engineering. This is a full-time, 9-month unclassified, tenure-track position. The appointment begins in August 2019.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

Teach a variety of chemical and general engineering courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. The teaching load is 12 semester credit hours with other academic duties as assigned by the department head.

Qualifications:

Required: Ph.D. in chemical engineering by the time of the appointment.

Preferred: Ph.D. in chemical engineering by the time of the appointment along with industrial experience and/or P.E. licensure.
