World History: Origins of the Cold War

This is an eleventh and twelfth grade level World History lesson. The lesson encompasses background information regarding the political actions of the Cold War. The overarching goal is to provide students with an accurate understanding of the mindset of the major players involved in the Cold War and political actions taken by these players. The lesson is comprised of an introduction to the topic on Nearpod with attached assessment and activities. The main activity for this lesson is a document analysis of primary sources from the Cold War era. Included at the bottom of the lesson are additional resources and an extension activity.
