Science: Weathering and Erosion

Posted: 05/11/2020 | By: Stephanie C. |

This lesson builds students’ knowledge about landforms and bodies of water on Earth. Students will learn about weathering and erosion by observing and investigating how wind and water change the shape of land and landforms. Students will take a trip to Spain, the Grand Canyon, and to a part of Louisiana’s coastline to provide evidence that Earth-changing events can occur quickly or slowly. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to design a solution to slow down the process of coastal erosion.
