For many students, this type of plan makes budgeting and paying for college easier. Keep in mind that enrolling in a payment plan does not remove your financial responsibility-you still owe the full amount even if you stop attending classes.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-1\">What is Nelnet Enterprise?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tNelnet is the company that McNeese uses to process online payments and installment plan contracts. It provides a secure, convenient way for students to make payments and set up or manage their payment plans.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-2\">Can parent(s) or third parties make a payment on my account?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tIf you wish to permit a third party to make payments on your behalf, you&#8217;ll need to set them up as an authorized payer.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-3\">Do I have to keep paying my payment plan if I resign?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tIf you decide to resign or withdraw from the University, you&#8217;re still responsible for paying any fees or charges that you owe under this agreement.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-4\">How do I know what my down payment will be?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tYour down payment will be \u00bc of your account balance for fall and spring and \u00bd for summer. In addition to the down payment, you must also pay a nonrefundable enrollment fee when you set up the plan:\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $50.00 for Fall\/Spring plans\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $40.00 for Summer plans\nBoth the down payment and the enrollment fee are due at the time you create the payment plan, so be sure you&#8217;re prepared to make the payment before setting it up.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-5\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-5\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-5\">When are my payments due?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tInstallment plan down payments are due by the published fee payment deadline in the schedule\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-linkindex=\"1\">https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/<\/a> and are processed when the installment plan is set up. The remaining payment deadlines will be set when you initiate your payment plan but typically follow the following dates:\n<ul>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Spring: February 15, March 15, April 15<\/li>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Summer: July 1<\/li>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Fall: September 15, October 15, November 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAll payments will be auto-drafted on the due dates via the method selected at the time the plan is initiated. Nelnet will send notifications prior to initiating payments.\nAutomated payments eliminate the need to remember to make manual payments and avoids late fees and holds for missed\/late payments.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-6\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-6\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-6\">What if I add or drop a class after I set up my payment plan?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any changes in tuition\/fees due to enrollment changes (adding\/dropping classes) will be automatically adjusted and reflected on the payment plan amounts due within 24 hours of the change.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-7\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-7\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-7\">Can I use my financial aid (scholarships, TOPS, loans and grants) for the down payment?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No, financial aid awards cannot be used as the initial\/down payment.<\/p>\n<p>If there is aid awarded that will pay a portion of the total charges, the partial aid will be applied toward the account balance and the plan will be set up on the remaining balance due after aid.<\/p>\nExample: If the charges are $4,500 and your aid is $2,500 the remaining balance due is $2,000.<br \/>\nThe payment plan payments would be as follows:\n#1 due at time of plan setup $500 + $50 enrollment fee for Fall\/Spring plans or $40 enrollment fee for Summer plans<br \/>\n#2 draft 2\/15\/23 $500<br \/>\n#3 draft 3\/15\/23 $500<br \/>\n#4 draft 4\/15\/23 $500\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-8\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-8\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-8\">Can I include my Bookstore PTA charges in my payment plan?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Yes, Bookstore PTA charges will be included in the payment plan. If you do not set up a Nelnet payment plan, Bookstore PTA charges will be due at the date determined by the Bookstore, usually to coincide with the final Payment Plan Date for the semester. Those dates are typically April 15 for spring, July 1 for summer and November 15 for fall.\u00a0 Semester specific dates can be found in the schedule\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-linkindex=\"2\">https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/schedule\/<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-9\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-9\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-9\">What are the benefits to using this online payment and installment plan process?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tStudents can make payments, enter into payment plans and see their installment amounts immediately. These services is are available 24-hours a day and Nelnet offers customer support.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-10\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-10\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-10\">How do I set up a payment plan?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tFrom <a href=\"https:\/\/my.mcneese.edu\">my.mcneese.edu<\/a>, select the Banner 9 button\n<ol>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Click on Students tab<\/li>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Click on My Bill<\/li>\n<li data-ogsc=\"black\">Select Setup Installment Plan (blue button on right side)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-11\"  tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-11\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-11\">Do I have to enroll in a payment plan?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No, enrolling is entirely up to you.
