Teacher Fair

The McNeese State University Teacher’s Fair gives graduating students from our education, school counseling and educational leadership programs the opportunity to network with public and private elementary and secondary schools from across the country.

Prior to this event, students have the chance to register and upload their resumes to Handshake, which will then be distributed to prospective schools. The day of, students can meet with representatives from schools in an interview-style event, where they will have the chance to discuss employment opportunities and ask questions.

The McNeese Teacher’s Fair is a major recruiting tool used by many of the regional parish and independent school districts in Louisiana, and also attracts schools from as far as California, Florida, and New York. Attending teacher fair is a great way for graduating students to learn more about opportunities in their career field, and can even lead to employment after graduation.

The next teacher fair will be on November 4, 2022.
